Battlefield 3:n suuri päivitys on ajoitettu tälle aamulle. Kaikki alustat saavat client- ja palvelinpäivitykset, joiden julkaisu alkaa PC:stä kello yhdeksän. Konsolit tulevat perässä, kunhan päivitysten tarkistus suoritetaan loppuun Microsoftilla ja Sonylla. Päivityksestä aiheutuu katko moninpelissä kello 9.00 - 11.00. * klo 11.14: Päivitys jaossa, huoltokatko ohi ja mm. Gaming.fi-palvelin päivitetty uusimpaan versioon.

Today's PC client patch features numerous tweaks to Squad functionality and is part of our ongoing efforts to make it easier to play with friends and Platoon mates. These changes will also be implemented for consoles when we release the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 updates shortly. Stay tuned for the exact date of the console updates.
First, we need to look at how joining with Squads and Platoons affects the balance of teams. Initially, servers are commanded to equal out each side, so joining with friends can impact that balance while joining with Platoons further hinders this. As a result we have made some adjustments to the in-game Squad management screen.
For PC, you are now able to highlight the various Squads and select which one you wish to join by selecting a Squad and then clicking the Join Squad button. Please note that the Squad Privacy option still allows 2 man Squads which, during 64 player sessions, can lead to players with no squad position - the number of people with no Squads will be shown at the bottom of the Squad selection list.
After the patch is applied to consoles (in the near future) you will be able to join Squads by cycling through the list and selecting which Squad you wish to join.

Tämähän on loistava päivitys. Muutaman kerran on tullut spawnattua vihollisen viereen/eteen/tähtäimeen/selkään ja parhaimmillaan kahden vierekkäisen vihollisen väliin :D
Toivottavasti muutama käytännön asia on myös korjattu. Ensimmäisenä tuleen mieleen kittien muokkaus. Esim. Camouflagen muuttaminen on mahdotonta, koska killcamin aikana ei voi tehdä mitään ja sen jälkeen on 2 sekuntia aikaa päättää mihin spawnataan. Ei sillä, ettäkö ukkelin väri haittaisi, mutta pyssyjäkin olisi joskus kiva muokata kun aukeaa uutta sälää. Toinen asia näin äkkiseltään on tiimin vaihto. BC2:ssa sai suht äkäseen vaihdettua kun painoi vain "Change team", niin ukkeli heitti syanidit naamaan ja tadaa, siellä oltiin. Nyt pitää ensin tehdä suicide, sitten venata se idiootti killcam ja sitten voit vasta todeta että tiimit onkin jo tasalukemissa.
Ei mulla muuta, avaudun lisää kun tulee mieleen...

Toivottavasti random kaatumiset vähenee tällä päivityksellä. Tähän asti joka kolmas pelin käynnistys on jäätynyt ja pitänyt sulkea tehtävänhallinnan kautta. Nvidian päivityksistä on ollut enemmän haittaa kuin hyötyä.

Minigunit saaneet näköjään lisätehoa, eli pääsee helikopterilla taas lahtaamaan paremmin jalkaväkeä. :) Iglan damagea taas on pienennetty, vaikka omasta mielestä sillä on jo nyt turhan vaikea pudottaa yksinään lentokoneita/helikoptereita.
Toivottavasti random kaatumiset vähenee tällä päivityksellä. Tähän asti joka kolmas pelin käynnistys on jäätynyt ja pitänyt sulkea tehtävänhallinnan kautta. Nvidian päivityksistä on ollut enemmän haittaa kuin hyötyä.
Tätäkin nerffattu vain lentokoneita vastaan eli kopterit saat ihan samalla tavalla yhä alas.

Ei myöskään toimi yksin peli, samalla lailla tuo game manager lopettaa toiminnan. Ikäänkuin BF3 ei suostuisi käynnistymään...

Niin ja edelleen ei voida luoda omia squadeja + ei voi jonottaa täyteen servuun.
Tarkoitat varmaan ettei voi nimetä squadeja? Niitähän on aina valmiiksi sen verran että kaikki pääsee squadiin 64 servulla.
Niinkuin sanoin LUODA, TEHDÄ, PERUSTAA, mitä sanaa haluatkin käyttää.
Tehdä oma uusi squad ja pistää se heti lukkoon + kutsua kaverit ja joo ohan siellä valmiiksi paljon squadeja johon mahtuu NELJÄ IHMISTÄÄÄ + niissä kaikissa on aina valmiiksi sen verran, että ei kavereiden kanssa mahdu samaan squadiin.
Niinkuin dice porukat battlelog videossa sanoivat. "Kavereiden kanssa pelaaminen ei ole koskaan ollut näin helppoa".

Kukaan ei pakota spawnaamaan heti kun se on mahdollista.
Ei kiinnostaisi tuhlata joka kerta tehokasta aikaa pelkästään killcamin katsomiseen, kun sinäkin aikana voisi tehdä jotakin hyödyllistä, esim. muokata kittinsä tilanteeseen sopivaksi. Sinne kukkulalle ei ehkä ole kiire sniputtamaan, mutta siellä missä tapahtuu on useimmiten melkoinen hätä päällä.

Kopterin konetykillä kerkee saamaan enemmän vahinkoa siinä ajassa kun se ohjus lukittautuu ja tankin guided-shell on samassa sarjassa javelinin kanssa tarkkuudessa, tosin jos on kaveri kolmantena tankissa niin sillon on hyvä riivata koptereita.
Tänään vihun ampuma javelin sujahti mun tankin alta ilman että teki mitään vahinkoa.
Itellä statsit javelinissa on 11 ammuttua laukausta ja osumatarkkuus 27.3% ja perus-singoilla se on sentäs 80% luokkaa, pitää opetella ampumaan tai jotain...
Onko kukaan muuten huomannu joko silencerit toimii kaikissa aseissa?

Javelin on vieläkin ihan turha, jos joku ei anna maaleja niin sen tarkkuus on surkea. Sama tosin koskee kaikkia tän tyyppisiä aseita.
Kopterin konetykillä kerkee saamaan enemmän vahinkoa siinä ajassa kun se ohjus lukittautuu ja tankin guided-shell on samassa sarjassa javelinin kanssa tarkkuudessa, tosin jos on kaveri kolmantena tankissa niin sillon on hyvä riivata koptereita.
Tänään vihun ampuma javelin sujahti mun tankin alta ilman että teki mitään vahinkoa.

Itsellä ainakin Javelin osunut aina tarkasti ellei kohde mene esim vuoren taakse piiloon.
